After School Sewing Classes

Children enjoy my classes and love their finished projects. It is a strong validation that they can create something unique & beautiful with their own hands. I hold classes in a variety of locations in the Brooklyn, NYC area. I also teach at BASIS Brooklyn Independent School, Brooklyn General, Science Language and Arts School. In Crafty Gabby Classes, children will work on their projects at their own level and pace. They will learn sewing and craft skills throughout each project.

Private Sewing Instruction

I offer private lessons to students who want to learn how to use their own sewing machine. I love to teach through the process of an easy sewing project. Depending on the age, I have found 2-3 private lessons gets a student comfortable on a sewing machine. Please email for details, and for suggestions on sewing machines for your children. If you are interested in this class and you have a sewing machine, please include your make and model I will be teaching on.

Virtual Embroidery Lessons

I provide an easy virtual, hand embroidery lesson. This includes all the supplies you need to participate online which is mailed or dropped off to the student. Online Students learn Embroidery basics such as running stitch, back stitch, tying knots, and tips on threading a needle. 

Hand Packed Craft Projects

These great, all in one packages, are designed and created by me. These tailor-made packs include everything you need to create the sewing project at home on your own. These packages range from felt kits, embroidery, and machine sewing projects.
